You can make your own design but you are not allowed to make adopts or profit from it. You can use it for your stories, RP and whatever. Emperor Scribes

Guardians who stores memories of their master. Originally was only used by royalties to store their memories and continue their reign even after death through the guardian. Now it can be used by anyone, if they can afford to make one. All Emperor Scribes have a symbol over their heart that states what type of scribes they are.

Appearance

The scribes generally have an androgynous body but this vary per master. The most basic form is a human, there may be various attachments on the scribe to make them unique to each master. E.g fox ears, wings etc. Most masters like to lavish their scribes with luxurious goods as a display of wealth and some simply dress them according to their personal taste. Scribes wear a basic body suit, that is the minimum they’re allowed to wear.

It is possible that the scribe can take shape of an animal but they’re incredibly rare.

All scribes have a crown and at least 1 pin on their head. The number of pins the scribe has shows how much memory space it contains. The number of pins may increase, depending on which type of Scribes they are. A single pin can carry at least 40 years worth of memories. The crown is what allows them to access the memories in the pins.

Diamond - The library

• Remembers important and significant memories
• Can be used as a reminder/alarm
• Can remove any memory when commanded to
• Master does not have full control of what the guardian copies
• May end up copying a traumatic experience into their memory
• Sometimes the master doesn’t know
• Can be shared with other masters
• Can add and remove pins at will
• Which means they can swap pins on their head to access different information

Club - I am you

• Copies literally everything the master remembers from the moment they are created
• Unlimited memory space
• Keeps copying until the master dies
• The Club is the most flexible scribe
• Able to adapt to changing trends like a human being
• Personality changes as time passes
• Despite all this, they still retain the memories of their master
• High maintenance
• The more memories it obtains the more it needs to rest to keep their body from falling apart
• Adds more pins
• Cannot remove pins
• Storing too much memory may cause the Club into a coma
• Clubs can remove memories but never the master’s

Heart - To remember forever beyond death

• Memories of what the master treasures the most
• Can be memories of their pets/familiars
• Includes family/couple love
• Possible to be a memory of someone passing away
• Easiest Scribe to command
• Can take as much memory as the master wants
• But the master must state how much ‘memory space’ the scribe has during the making
• Cannot increase/decrease ‘memory space’ after the making
• MUST HAVE A SPECIFIC ‘AMOUNT’ (you can pretend each memory scenario is a unit, the master must state how many memory space unit the Scribe has during it’s creation)

Spade - Secrets kept until the end of time

• Most rare and difficult Scribe to make
• Scribe can choose to reject the memory that is supposed to be a secret
• Scribe is capable of picking what memory they want to copy
• They cannot share the memory to anyone
• The master cannot command it to share it with specific people
• To obtain the memory you must gain it’s trust
• Gaining the Spade’s trust is incredibly difficult
• They have no memory of their master’s life to identify people
• Spades only remember their master’s name
• Only has one pin
• Usually, keeps the most important secrets if they run out of space
• Cannot add more pins after creation
• Having more than one pin means a bad omen
• gaining a secret from a 2pin would curse the person who obtains it

FAQ

Do emperor scribes have a personality?
Yes, it varies per type. Diamonds are born with nothing, their personality is based on the knowledge & memory they receive. Clubs is born with their master’s personality but can develop it as time pass. Heart’s personality is purely based off the memory given to them. Spade rarely has personality, they’re often pretty stoic and are devoted to their job as a keeper, born with no personality and are resistant to development. Doesn’t mean they can’t develop a personality though.

How do Emperor Scribes die?
They can't really die like-- biologically. The symbol on their chest is actually a solid block, if you pull the block out of their chest you’ve basically taken away their soul. You can always put it back in.

So when Emperor Scribes are categorised is it just Spade Scribe?
Yes, if you’re referring to a specific type of scribe then you state the symbol. If you mean in general then its Emperor Scribes.

Do they need to eat?
No, but they can if they want. They do need to sleep.

How're they created exactly? It sounds like they are an android.
They are made out of pure magic and are bound by a contract.

Must the symbol on the chest show?
Generally, yes. Though if it gets in the way of your design you can always put the symbol on the clothes instead when you cover the chest.

Can the crown come off? What about the pins?
The pins and crown are practically fused to their head, they cannot come off. Only diamonds can remove their pins. They crown ALWAYS stay.

What are the traits that make up an Emperor Scribe?
The crown, pins and symbol on their chest. Everything else can be different! You can have a mermaid or a centaur with a crown,pin and a symbol and it's possible they might be one! I say might because non scribes may also have a similar appearance. (And I'm not putting a copyright on this cause these are not unique species traits)
